From Aviation to a Passion for Bringing Pets Home Safely
Iroshan's journey in aviation began at just 20 years old, when he joined SriLankan Airlines. What started as a career in aviation would take him across several leading international airlines, including Qatar Airways, Oman Air, SWISS, Lufthansa, and AirAsia.
Over the years, he gained extensive experience in airline operations, cargo handling, documentation, logistics, safety, and international travel procedures. But one area of aviation captured his heart more than anything else, live animal transportation. Through his work with different airlines, Iroshan received specialised training in live-animal handling and came to understand just how much care and preparation is required when a pet travels by air.
Unlike ordinary cargo, pets cannot tell us when they are scared, uncomfortable, thirsty, or stressed. Their journey requires careful planning, attention to detail, and genuine compassion. That experience eventually inspired Iroshan to turn his aviation expertise into something more meaningful, Lanka Pet Relocations.
Today, his goal is simple: to make international pet travel safe, reliable, transparent, and as stress-free as possible, while giving pet owners the confidence that their beloved companions are in caring and experienced hands. For Iroshan, pet relocation isn't simply about getting a pet from one country to another. It's about helping families stay together, wherever life takes them.
